Let the user choose the images from gallery of the phone

I was thinking more about creating a separate application dedicated to using images from the phone only. Though I wan’t probably have time for anything in the end – totally busy with the Qt-related startup I joined lately.

I'd like to use photos that I have in the phones memory. Option to use favorite pictures would be a nice, but it would also be nice to use invidually selected and cropped pictures (by myself).

Do you mean just rotating the local images (from some collection, or a set of favorite ones), or mixing ones from flickr with the local ones as in http://dailywallpaper.uservoice.com/forums/135625-general/suggestions/2361025-combine-pictures-coming-from-flickr-with-the-local ?
